Episode Overview[]
Paraphrased from Marietta's summary at the beginning of Episode 12.
Atalia finished up her meeting, some back story was revealed. Nix went back to see her sick mom, who it turns out has been randomly teleporting to places. They hired a nano to help her cuz theres some sort of disease or something going on there and it's really heckin' expensive. Nix just made some dollars but not quite enough and she hasn't really told the party anything about this yet. ChaCha and Dili went to a really shitty bar that they found called the Queen's Spittoon, they get a table together and a couple beers. Dili gives a shin for what was a quarter-shin cost and since he doesn’t have change he just gives the rest of it as a tip and the lady’s like, wink, wink. Something’s going on there and it’s kind of confusing and little awkward.
Nix eventually says goodbye to her parents and shows up at the bar like, “Oh my gosh, guys, you didn’t get me my scorpions,” because, PS, previously, Nix had been like, “Oh, meet up at this bar, get me some green scorpions.” Atalia joined the party and they all ate the scorpions, then this creepy shadowy person appeared in the bar and was kind of checking Atalia out. She stood up and did, like, a quick stealth look and was like, “That’s fuckin’ creepy, that seems like someone from 'question mark' organization. But I actually do have to pee so I’m gonna go pee.” So then Atalia went to the bathroom and creepy dude followed her. Which is creepy, first of all, and was like, “Hey, you shouldn’t ask questions, you know better than that.”
